New bus stops installed

Oxfordshire County Council have installed new permanent bus stops along the 40 route and extended 280 / X8 bus route. The new stops have been installed at Churchill Crescent (280 / X8), Orchard Close (280 / X8) and the Health Centre (40). The ancient bus stop sign that was outside the Community Hospital (Hub) was removed last week and given to Thame Museum to keep as part of local history. Its replacement (pictured) has been suitably installed next to the bench that was already in situ outside the Health Centre.

The extended 280 / X8 route will call at (in this order only): Orchard Close, Churchill Crescent, Howland Road, Wenman Road, Thame Park Road and back to the Town Centre via Park Street.

The 40 route will depart the Town Hall and call at Kings Road (for the Thame Health Centre), Queens Road and then out to Towersey / Chinnor / High Wycombe. On the return journey the bus will call at Queens Road, Kings Road and the Health Centre.
