Coaching Workshop for Young Entrepreneur Competition Finalists a Great Success!

The finalists in Thame’s Small Business Saturday Young Entrepreneurs Competition attended a free coaching workshop on Saturday 26th November at Christchurch in Thame. They were coached by Jean Gamester of Semaphora Consulting, who specialises in developing people, training in public speaking and communications skills. Jean provided her time free of charge to the young entrepreneurs, who are all under 30, many attending schools and colleges in Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire. They clearly benefited from their training as the picture depicting some of the finalists shows. The finals of the competition are being held in Thame next Saturday 3rd December, Small Business Saturday. Prizes for the winners include a first prize of £500 cash and mentoring for 12 months, with trophies for the winner and two runners-up. Family, friends and members of the public are welcome to attend the entrepreneurs’ presentations to the judges and the winners’ event, where prizes will be given by John Howell MP.
